Job summary

Unikie in Finland seeks an experienced Kotlin/Java Full Stack Developer to join a long-term customer project. You will build Kotlin/Java backend services, React frontends, and contribute to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and software architecture in a cloud-native environment.

You will work across the full stack, collaborate with multi‑vendor teams, apply secure development practices, and work with Kubernetes, AWS, and various databases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Full Stack or Backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of microservices and API integrations.
• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS), and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Good knowledge of SQL databases and Redis.
• Experience with secure development practices and testing.
• Experience working in multi-vendor environments.
• Fluent Finnish and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain React applications with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Design and integrate REST and SOAP APIs.
• Develop scalable microservices running on Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation.
• Work with SQL databases, Redis, Linux environments, and secure authentication solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams in a multi-vendor environment.
