Un village de vacances en Laponie recherche un cuisinier passionné pour rejoindre son équipe à Saariselkä. Vous serez responsable de la préparation de plats savoureux et esthétiques, garantissant des expériences culinaires mémorables pour les visiteurs. Une expérience d'au moins 2 ans et un bon niveau d'anglais sont requis. Le poste commence en novembre et se termine en mars/avril avec un horaire de 112,5 heures toutes les 3 semaines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 ans d'expérience en tant que cuisinier.

Kokki haussa Northern Lights Village Saariselälle! Etsimme taitavaa ja intohimoista kokkia liittymään keittiötiimiimme Saariselälle. Tässä roolissa pääset valmistamaan maistuvia ja visuaalisesti houkuttelevia annoksia, jotka tekevät vieraidemme ruokailuhetkistä unohtumattomia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals with attention to quality, presentation, and timely service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Manage inventory and resources efficiently.
  • Contribute to menu development with innovative ideas.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience as a cook.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisine.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A passion for food and creativity in the kitchen.
Beneficial Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Finnish or other languages, in addition to English.
  • Finland food hygiene proficiency.
  • Experience with Nordic cuisine.
  • Dietary and allergen knowledge.
  • Valid B driver’s license.

Pay, duration and benefits

Starts: November, Ends: March/April. 112,5 working hours per 3 weeks period. Hourly pay negotiated in an interview, according to knowledge and experience. Other benefits according to the collective labor agreement. If necessary, the resort provides accommodation in a shared room for €250/month.
