Job summary

Hoxhunt is hiring a Junior Security Engineer in Helsinki, Finland. This hybrid role focuses on GRC, handling security questionnaires and RFP responses while supporting ongoing compliance programs and vulnerability remediation.

You will schedule pentests, manage access reviews, and contribute to policy cycles, with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn security controls, workflows and tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Strong written English and attention to detail
• Project management and stakeholder coordination skills
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks or willingness to learn
• Comfort using AI tools
• Python or Shell scripting (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Own security questionnaires and RFP responses end to end
• Support continuous compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001 and HIPAA)
• Coordinate vulnerability management remediation tracking
• Schedule pentests, access reviews and policy cycles
• Prepare compliance reporting and audit support

Education

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field
