We\'re looking for a skilled software developer with solid experience in Java and geospatial technologies. What are we looking for?

We hope you’ve built real-life information systems from the ground up – not just written code, but shaped well-structured, scalable, and maintainable solutions. This is a hands-on developer role with a backend focus and a geospatial twist.

• Solid experience in Java – ideally 5+ years of hands-on development
• At least 3 years of experience with GIS technologies such as PostGIS, GeoServer, or other spatial data solutions
• A strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, and cloud platforms
• Experience working with relational databases
• Experience with Azure or AWS is appreciated
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular is a plus
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to write clean, maintainable code
• To ensure effective communication, including with Finnish-speaking customers, fluency in both English and Finnish is essential for this role
