Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking an Intern for Performance & Reliability Testing in Helsinki. This student role supports the Patient Care Solutions team, combining part-time academic contributions with full-time efforts during summer and breaks to ensure quality and reliability of life-saving medical software.

You will execute automated tests, contribute to test automation infrastructure, and help drive improvements across testing tools and processes, collaborating in English within a global team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant degree with interest in software testing and QA
• Ability to work independently and in a team with good documentation
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and enhance performance and reliability test systems for patient monitoring products.
• Execute automated and manual tests; analyze results and report findings.
• Develop and maintain test automation solutions and infrastructure.
• Support continuous improvement of test tools, processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Document findings clearly and share results with the team.
• Design and implement new system test automation as skills allow.
• Optionally design and implement broader system test automation.
