As a Second Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the ship's machinery and auxiliary systems, ensuring they meet all current safety and environmental requirements. A solid overall knowledge of the vessel's technical systems is essential.

Minimum requirement for the position is a valid Watchkeeping Engineer certificate (STCW III/1). Higher-level certificates of competence are considered an advantage.

Additional Information

M/S Finlandia operates between Helsinki‑Tallinn under Finnish flag. Work rotation follows a 2:3 schedule.

Our official work language and safety language onboard is English; language skills in Finnish and Swedish are meritorious.
