Job summary

Rosendahl Nextrom in Finland is seeking a Production Portfolio Planner for our Vantaa site. You will handle production pre-planning and capacity view for the project portfolio, collaborating with project management, engineering, and sourcing from early stages.

You will split time between pre-planning with teams and scheduling awarded projects, reporting to the Work Preparation & Material Planning Manager, and supporting cross-functional stakeholders to optimize production load and on-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, sourcing or supply chain management.
• Understanding of production processes and project management.
• Calm, structured, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to speak up with fact-based decisions and work across functions.

Responsibilities

• Assess feasibility of new projects and pre-planning from a production perspective.
• Plan initiation and scheduling of new projects relative to portfolio, workload and capacity.
• Evaluate impact of new projects on existing production plans and delivery schedules.
• Maintain an overview of current and future production workload and balance load.
• Identify overload situations and propose prioritization and resource allocation.
• Participate in project prioritization and long-term portfolio planning.
• Update production schedules based on demand changes and material availability.
