Job summary

Orion Pharma is seeking an Development Manager to lead primary packaging materials. The role can be based in Espoo, Turku or Salo with hybrid options, reporting to the Head of Primary Packaging Materials & Cleaning Validation. The contract is fixed-term until 31 December 2028.

You will manage change controls, evaluate new materials, ensure compliance, support regulatory submissions, and collaborate across functions to deliver high quality packaging solutions that support patient well-being.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field, preferably related to packaging materials.
• Strong project management skills and ownership of tasks.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and under pressure.
• Fluency in Finnish and English.
• Experience in pharma/food/cosmetics packaging is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage change controls and assess changes related to primary packaging materials.
• Evaluate suitability and functionality of new packaging materials.
• Provide packaging materials expertise and maintain documentation.
• Contribute to regulatory submissions and variations.
• Coordinate quality requirements, specifications, and test runs.
