Job summary

Konehuolto Kaasalainen Oy in Tuusula is seeking a maintenance technician for asphalt and infrastructure equipment. You will join a small, professional team where a calm work pace and personal responsibility are valued, and you will service and repair asphalt, infra and road construction equipment with tasks at the workshop and at customer sites in Southern Finland.

Qualifications

• Practical experience as a technician from automotive, trailer, heavy equipment or earthmoving repair workshops.
• Good basic technical understanding and the ability to learn new devices.
• Ability to work independently after onboarding.
• Valid B-driver’s license.
• Finnish language skills (or fluent English and adequate Finnish).
• Experience in hydraulics is a plus.
• Electrical fault repair skills or basic electrical understanding are beneficial.
• Experience with heavy equipment or earthmoving machines is desirable.
• C-, CE- or other broad driving license class is advantageous.
• Valid safety or road safety certificates are beneficial.
• English language skills (maintenance materials may be in English).

Responsibilities

• Replace hydraulic hoses and fix hydraulic leaks
• Replace components and perform practical repair work
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic servicing
• Replace wear parts as part of machine maintenance
• Troubleshoot and solve practical problems independently
• Handle repairs according to fault lists during the winter season
• Assist with moving machines, trailers or parts when needed
