Job summary

GE Healthcare Oy seeks a developer to design, implement, and test a medical application, spanning sensor data acquisition, processing, business logic, UI, and communication.

You will contribute within an agile, multi-disciplinary team, taking ownership of software development, reviews, testing, and documentation while collaborating across a global, cross-cultural environment. Fluency in English and legal Finland work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Substantial experience in software platforms, applications, and/or user-interface design.
• Deep experience in object-oriented design in C++, other modern SW methodologies, and agile software development.
• Self-starter—eager and quick to learn and experiment.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Legally authorized to work in Finland.

• Developing software from sensor data acquisition towards data processing, business logic, UI, or communication; developing robust and high-quality software; driving excellence and continuous improvement in software development methods and tools; working as an active member of a collaborative and multi-disciplinary agile team; taking full responsibility of the software development, including reviews, testing, and documentation; and interacting seamlessly in a cross-functional, multi-cultural, and global environment.
