Job summary

Jobgether SRL, partnering with a Finland-based client, seeks a Team Lead, Human Data Operations – Vision, Image & Video. You will lead a team of AI Tutors, owning quality, delivery, and labeling standards across image and video data.

This hands-on leadership role combines people management with direct data review. You will collaborate with data, engineering, and operations to translate model requirements into effective data strategies, scale workflows, and drive continuous improvement in a

Qualifications

• At least 1 year hands-on experience in data labeling or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with data quality metrics, annotation workflows, and guideline-driven processes.
• Familiarity with Notion, Axiom, JIRA, Linear or equivalent tools.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and role of training data.
• Quality assurance experience in creative/visual projects.
• Experience leading small teams in data labeling or QA.
• Familiarity with prompting and AI-powered image or video generation tools a plus.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to build trust with stakeholders.
• SQL knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality and delivery for assigned human data projects, personally reviewing work for accuracy and guideline adherence.
• Lead, coach, and performance-manage a team of AI Tutors.
• Participate in labeling and review activities to maintain quality standards.
• Manage guideline adherence, taxonomy processes, QA workflows, and certification standards.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
• Track team and project performance using KPIs and dashboards.
• Develop training materials and certification benchmarks; oversee certifications.
• Collaborate with Human Data Managers, other Team Leads, and Engineering to translate model requirements into labeling strategies.
• Foster a high-performance culture and handle performance processes when required.
• Document outcomes, risks, and results; propose process improvements.
• Represent needs of AI Tutors and promote cross-organizational collaboration.
