Job summary

Metso seeks a Head of Circular Business to lead development and implementation of commercial circular economy solutions that create value for customers and Metso. You will design and scale recycling and material recovery business models, helping reduce waste, lower CO2 emissions and drive growth.

The role reports to the VP, Business Development, CNS with global travel. Based in a North/South America preference, hybrid/remote options considered for candidates within commutable distance to a Metso

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience in business development, commercial leadership, partnerships, sustainability and circular economy.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Experience developing business cases, commercial models or customer value propositions.
• Proven customer-facing experience and ability to build trusted relationships.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Self-motivated with passion for innovation, sustainability and driving change.
• Nice-to-have: circular economy initiatives, recycling operations or sustainability programs.
• Nice-to-have: knowledge of regulations, logistics, customs or material recovery.
• Nice-to-have: additional languages beyond English.

Introduction

We are looking for a Head of Circular Business to join our Consumables Business Development team. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of commercial circular economy solutions that create value for our customers and Metso. By designing and scaling innovative recycling and material recovery business models, you will help reduce waste, lower CO₂ emissions, and contribute to our sustainability ambitions while driving business growth. The role reports to the VP, Business Development, CNS. This role is preferred to be based in North or South America, with flexible working arrangements available, however we are open to considering global candidates within a commutable distance of a Metso location. This role includes regional and international travel to support customers, partners, market areas, and business initiatives globally.

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, sustainability, supply chain management, or another relevant field
