Job summary

Orion Pharma is seeking a strategic Head of Publications & Medical Communications to lead global publication strategy for the Innovative Medicines portfolio. You will own publication planning, governance and the creation of high‑quality scientific communications across assets and disease areas.

Remote collaboration with global teams and external partners will be routine. Reporting to VP Medical Affairs, iMeds, you will oversee budgets, SOPs, and governance, while guiding authorship, data

Qualifications

• 10+ years in pharma/biotech with 5–7 years in publications.
• Experience leading publication programs, agencies or vendors.
• Global publication planning and congress strategy experience.
• Cross‑functional collaboration with Clinical Development and Medical Affairs.
• Experience with publication governance, SOPs and vendor selection.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead global publication strategies across the portfolio.
• Shape scientific narratives and oversee dissemination at congresses.
• Govern publication processes, timelines and quality standards.
• Manage external agencies, writers and vendors with budget ownership.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Regulatory, RWE and Market Access.
