FiveNines Group is seeking an experienced Design Manager to coordinate design work across construction projects in a major international infrastructure environment. You will lead design meetings, liaise with external teams and clients, and drive value engineering.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
• HNC/HND/degree in Construction Management or Architecture.
• BSc in Design and Construction Management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good self-motivation and the ability to motivate others.
• Experience in Temporary work designs.
• Experience in external public realm design (Hard/Soft landscaping).

Responsibilities

• Lead design project meetings and oversee external design teams.
• Liaise with other teams and departments.
• Work with clients to ensure that their requirements are fulfilled and expectations met.
• Requires a thorough understanding of technical, regulatory and commercial issues as well as pure design considerations.
• Input to design at tender through to project completion.
• Drive forward value engineering and innovation into the project designs.
