Eaton is seeking a Global Category Manager to join our Global Purchasing Organization in Dublin. You will lead category strategies across a $600M spend portfolio, collaborating with Operations, Engineering and Quality to drive value and supply continuity.

The role requires a decade of experience in electronics manufacturing, strategic sourcing or category management, strong leadership, and a track record of global supplier negotiations within a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 10+ years in electronics manufacturing, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Experience managing global supplier relationships and procurement strategies.
• Proven ability in cross-functional leadership and program management.

Responsabilités

• Lead global category and sourcing strategies to drive cost-out and performance.
• Develop and execute enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives for value and risk management.
• Negotiate and manage strategic supplier contracts to ensure supply continuity.
• Define category strategies using market intel, should-cost analysis and RFQs.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve procurement and transformation goals.
• Drive supplier performance management and annual business reviews.
