Academic Work Finland Oy is seeking a diligent general ledger accountant to support our client with postings, reconciliations and month-end closing activities. You will help ensure accurate financial data and contribute to process documentation in collaboration with the finance team.

• Relevant higher education degree in finance or accounting, preferably with focus on accounting.
• Strong practical skills in general ledger activities and reconciliations.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Able to navigate a changing organization and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment.
• Detail-oriented and quality-driven working approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Perform month-end closing activities.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
