Job summary

HIIT invites applications for Postdoctoral Fellow positions in Computer Science to advance high-impact research within the Helsinki IT research community. Fellowships are hosted by Aalto University and the University of Helsinki and are fully funded, including salary and travel/publication costs.

Positions are up to three years with flexible starting dates. We welcome candidates who recently completed their PhD or will do so before starting, with strong publication records and excellent English

Qualifications

• PhD required in computer science, statistics, mathematics or related field.
• Publication record in top-tier venues advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent written and spoken English required.

Responsibilities

• Join a HIIT/host university research group under supervision.
• Carry out high-quality, independent research and publish results.
• Collaborate with researchers across HIIT, Aalto and Helsinki communities.
