Job summary

Carrot Palvelut Oy is seeking an experienced excavator deckhand for a project in Vantaa. You will perform measurements, leveling and various compaction tasks on site. Several years of deckhand experience and proficiency with laser equipment are required; knowledge of road compaction is a plus.

A valid occupational safety card is mandatory. Starting as soon as suitable candidate is found, the project duration is about 1.5 years.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced excavator deckhand for our client in Vantaa. Your duties include measurements, leveling, and various compaction works. We expect several years of experience in the deckhand role. Proficiency with laser equipment and knowledge/experience with road compaction are required. We value a proactive attitude and good collaboration skills. A valid occupational safety card is required. Knowledge of operating a small excavator is a plus. Pay is determined according to the infra sector collective agreement based on your skills and experience, and you may state your salary expectations in the application. The job starts as soon as a suitable person is found and the project duration is about 1.5 years.
