Responsibilities
Lead electrical and system engineering activities within R&D projects, owning technical delivery from concept through production
Define system architecture, product requirements, and technical specifications for high‑power laser and mixed‑signal systems
Drive the design, development, integration, and testing of electrical systems to achieve performance, quality, and reliability targets
Plan, coordinate, and monitor engineering activities to ensure project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met
Oversee design verification, validation, and product certification activities, ensuring compliance with EMC and electrical safety standards
Provide technical problem‑solving and engineering support for customer and product‑related challenges, including root cause analysis and troubleshooting
Coordinate external development partners and suppliers to support technical execution and product delivery
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including manufacturing, mechanical design, software, and optics to ensure successful product development
Follow established product development processes, including New Product Introduction (NPI) and stage‑gate frameworks, to support efficient execution
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support broader business and product development goals through technical leadership
Education & Experience
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Proven experience in electrical product design, particularly within multi‑kilowatt or other high‑power systems
Experience developing complex technical products in demanding R&D or industrial environments
Experience working across hardware, control systems, firmware, and system integration
Hands‑on experience managing product development from concept through production
Experience in product certification and compliance verification is highly desirable
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of system engineering, electrical engineering, and firmware development
Solid experience with mixed‑signal products and system‑level architecture
Hands‑on experience with EMC design and compliance, including CISPR standards
