Electrical Package Manager Temporary Electrical Works (Hyperscale Data Centre Construction Finland) Location: Hamina, Finland (with site-based presence required) Reports to: Senior Project Manager Job Type: Full-Time | Fixed-Term Contract (depending on project scope and availability)

Role Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Package Manager to oversee the planning, installation, and management of temporary electrical systems for a hyperscale data centre construction project in Finland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all temporary power solutions are safe, efficient, and compliant with Finnish national regulations and EU electrical standards, supporting construction, testing, and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Temporary Electrical Systems Oversight: Plan and coordinate all temporary electrical installations, including site power distribution, temporary lighting, welfare facilities, and relevant feeds.
  • Ensure robust temporary power systems are in place to support construction sequencing and MEP commissioning.
  • Create and update temporary electrical system drawings, load schedules, and equipment layouts.
  • Safety, Compliance & Regulations: Ensure full compliance with SFS 6000 (Finnish electrical installation standard), Occupational Safety and Health Act (738/2002), and other applicable Finnish legislation.
  • Implement and oversee electrical safety protocols, including LOTO (lockout/tagout), temporary installations inspection, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with a qualified Finnish S1-licensed electrical contractor for installations requiring certification.
  • Contractor Management & Coordination: Manage and coordinate temporary electrical subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Interface with the general contractor, client representatives, local utilities and inspection authorities if required.
  • Monitor contractor progress, quality, and compliance to scope.
  • Project Controls & Reporting: Monitor and control the budget and schedule for temporary electrical works.
  • Track temporary power equipment logistics (generators, transformers, cables, distribution boards, etc.).
  • Provide regular reports to the MEP lead and client PMO on status, issues, and risks.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years experience in delivering temporary electrical works on large-scale construction projects (preferably hyperscale data centres or industrial facilities).
  • In-depth knowledge of Finnish and EU electrical standards (SFS, IEC, EN).
  • Familiarity with Finnish safety practices and legislation (Työturvallisuuskortti preferred).
  • Experience with large temporary power systems including diesel generators, transformers, and distribution equipment.
Desirable Skills & Certifications
  • Työturvallisuuskortti (Occupational Safety Card) mandatory on Finnish construction sites.
  • S1/S2 license or experience working with Finnish-licensed electrical firms.
  • Hot work permit (Tulityökortti) for supervising or working in fire-risk environments.
  • Experience working with BIM, AutoCAD, or site coordination tools (e.g., MS Project, Navisworks, BIM 360).
  • Finnish language desired and English fluency required.
