Job summary

China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. (CHEC) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Kotka CAM Plant project in Kotka, Finland. The role sits within the MEP team on a 6–12 month contract, located on-site at Keltakallio, Kotka.

You will supervise electrical installations, coordinate design work, review construction/design plans, and resolve on-site issues while ensuring compliance with Finnish electrical codes. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Experience in electrical design, review, and/or construction support.
• Familiarity with Finnish electrical laws, codes, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervising Electrical installations on site.
• Coordinating electrical design work across disciplines and reviewing key construction and design plans.
• Leading the construction drawing review process and providing post-design technical services.
• Resolving on-site electrical technical issues and supporting project implementation.
• Reviewing electrical documents for procurement and subcontracting.
