The Impact You'll Make

As our new Edge Analytics Developer, you’ll play a key role in driving the delivery of edge analytics solutions that power Danfoss’ digital services. You'll work in selected business critical projects developing new Digital Service offerings, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, and developing robust analytics models that will be critical to our success.

Your impact? Ensuring that short and long terms needs are translated into practical solutions, and that analytics models and products are scalable, reusable, and aligned with Danfoss' strategic goals.

You’ll collaborate closely with business owners and a team of internal experts while reporting to the Head of Digital Portfolio. Together, you’ll help us build the next generation of digital services that strengthen Danfoss’ role as the leading digital service provider in our industry.

What You'll Be Doing

• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into edge analytics use cases.
• Designing and implementing analytics models optimized for edge and/or cloud environments.
• Ensuring solutions are productized and integrated into chosen platforms.
• Defining and promoting best practices for edge analytics development, including data handling, model deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Working firsthand in development projects related to analytics, including prototyping, testing, and deployment.
• Identifying opportunities to improve analytics capabilities and drive innovation across products.
• Communicating effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and adoption.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in data analytics and embedded software development.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, C/C++, SQL), tools and frameworks used in analytics and CI/CD pipelines for model updates and deployment.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for hybrid edge-cloud architectures.
• Experience developing analytics solutions that generate real value and benefits for users.
• Capable of conceptualizing complex topics and simplifying them into implementable and deployable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with multi-cultural working experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering, IoT systems and industrial applications would be a strong plus.
