Senior Manager, Product Strategy & Operations

The CoCounsel team is pioneering innovation across the legal product suite. We seek a Senior Manager of Product Strategy and Operations to drive the next stage of growth of Practical Law and CoCounsel Transactional by leading strategic initiatives at the intersection of emerging technologies and Thomson Reuters’ legal expertise.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Senior Manager, Product Strategy & Operations, you will:

  • Lead projects across product strategy and partnerships for the CoCounsel Transactional and GCO team.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to create new revenue streams and audiences through product partnerships.
  • Partner with Product Management and Product Marketing to identify and prioritize new opportunities.
  • Utilize strong financial modeling skills to assess potential initiatives.
  • Use insights from external and internal sources to inform product strategy and clearly communicate decisions to the organization.
  • Create informative and persuasive strategy and program management materials to effectively tell the story across the organization, such as quarterly business reviews, annual plans, and investment proposals to the executive team.
  • Help identify cultural areas for improvement and promote diversified initiatives into action.

About You

You will fit for the role of Senior Manager, Product Strategy & Operations if your background includes:

  • Experience leading product strategy projects, ideally within Legal Tech or other B2B SaaS vertical.
  • Strong interest in the role of technology in professional services.
  • Proven ability to identify and execute opportunities to create new revenue streams.
  • Strong financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent storytelling and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, comfortable leading cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to embrace change, challenge norms with innovative ideas, and demonstrate consistent initiative.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in partnerships, management consulting, or M&A.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Law, Finance).
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
