Job summary

SimAnalytics develops Factory Harmonizer, an advanced industrial analytics platform that combines process expertise, systems thinking and machine learning to improve production performance. Our Helsinki-based team builds cloud-native infrastructure and platform services, collaborating with data scientists and developers to deliver reliable AI-powered solutions across manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure or System Administration.
• Experience working with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• Good Linux administration skills.
• Scripting experience (Bash, Python or similar).
• A structured troubleshooting mindset and curiosity to investigate unfamiliar problems.
• Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Good communication skills in English (Finnish is a plus).

What you’ll be doing

As our DevOps Engineer, you’ll be responsible for developing and operating the infrastructure behind Factory Harmonizer and our cloud services.

Your work includes:

• Building, maintaining and improving our cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes-based platforms

• Developing CI/CD pipelines and improving software delivery

• Automating infrastructure using Terraform, Helm and related technologies

• Improving monitoring, observability and operational reliability

• Troubleshooting issues across applications, infrastructure, networking, databases and cloud services

• Working closely with developers to improve developer experience and deployment processes

• Balancing security, scalability and reliability while keeping delivery practical and agile

• Gradually taking ownership of platforms and technical responsibility areas based on your interests and expertise

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, learning continuously and solving problems collaboratively.

Ideally you have:

• At least two years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure or System Administration

• Experience working with Kubernetes in production environments

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines
