Job summary

Huvimaania RY invites an enthusiastic, development-oriented daycare director to help build a new Estonian-language daycare in Vantaa. You will shape the operational culture, create a safe, child-centered learning environment, and work with staff to ensure every child’s language, identity, and individual needs are respected.

In this pedagogical leadership role you will support staff, coordinate daily activities, and collaborate with families and partners to grow the daycare from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Qualifications for the position according to the Early Childhood Education Act.
• Experience in pedagogical leadership of early childhood education.
• Good cooperation and interaction skills.
• Interest in developing language- and culture-aware early childhood education.
• Proficiency in Finnish and willingness to work in an Estonian-language environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide pedagogical leadership of the daycare, support staff, and develop operations in cooperation with families and partners.
• Inspire the work community, organize daily activities, and create a positive atmosphere.
