Job summary

Nokian Tyres is seeking a Solution Owner, Data Platforms to lead end-to-end data platform strategy within the Global Platforms IT organization. Based in Helsinki or Nokia office, you will drive modernization from legacy warehouses to cloud-based platforms and enable analytics, governance, and AI use cases with a trusted data foundation.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners to ensure secure, scalable solutions that deliver business value and cost

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data platform, analytics, or solution ownership roles.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or comparable analytics platforms.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of the data platform solution, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Define and maintain the platform roadmap aligned with business priorities and IT strategy.
• Lead the transition from legacy data warehouses to modern cloud-based platforms.
• Ensure platform governance, security, compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Translate business needs into solution priorities, requirements, and scope.
• Enable trusted data assets that support analytics, reporting, automation, and AI use cases.
• Lead data governance forums with business data owners and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and external vendors.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation across data platform capabilities.
• Monitor technology trends and recommend value-driven improvements.
