Job summary

IFF in Finland is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to help teams adopt the company’s Azure-based data platform, working hands-on to solve challenges and create reusable onboarding assets.

You will collaborate with engineers and analysts to accelerate onboarding, improve templates and best practices, and enable data-driven decision making across the Nordics. This is a permanent, full-time role with potential for hybrid work and Nordic travel.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in data engineering and platform engineering.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and onboarding users.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide teams through onboarding and their first implementations.
• Provide hands-on support with Databricks, DBT, Git, CI/CD.
• Help teams move faster from idea to production.
• Create reusable onboarding assets, templates, and guides.
• Mentor engineers and analysts to become productive quickly.
• Identify recurring challenges and improve onboarding practices.
• Drive platform adoption to deliver business outcomes.
