Job summary

The Launch Group is seeking Electrical Engineers to join its data centre and critical infrastructure teams across Europe. The role focuses on designing, coordinating and delivering complex electrical systems from concept through commissioning.

Applicants should have a degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience with power distribution, transformers and UPS systems, and be comfortable traveling to project sites across Europe.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Min 3 years' professional electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with transformers, HV/LV switchgear and power distribution.
• Experience with electrical calculations, drawings and documentation.
• Knowledge of electrical standards, regulations and best practices.
• Experience with CAD/BIM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for data centre buildings and associated infrastructure.
• Design and coordinate power distribution systems (transformers, switchgear, boards, busbars).
• Produce and review electrical calculations, drawings, specs and single-line diagrams.
• Support concept, detail design and construction-stage activities.
• Coordinate electrical solutions with civil, structural, mechanical and other disciplines.
• Support electrical installation, testing, commissioning and site inspections.
• Ensure compliance with IEC/EN standards and project specs.
• Contribute to design reviews, risk assessments and value-engineering.
