Job summary

ByteBridge is seeking a Data Center Engineer to support 24/7 data center operations in Kouvola, Finland. You will perform hardware break/fix, troubleshooting, and day-to-day infrastructure support on-site to ensure issues are identified and resolved promptly.

Responsibilities include rack-and-stack, cabling, and component replacement, with coordination to remote teams and vendors. Finnish work authorization is required, and role may involve rotating shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or diploma in IT/engineering or related field.
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience in data centers or IT infra.
• Familiarity with enterprise server hardware from major vendors.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware break/fix support for servers, storage, and network equipment.
• Troubleshoot and replace faulty components (HDDs/SSDs/RAM/PSUs/network cards).
• Carry out rack-and-stack, equipment installation, and decommissioning activities.
• Perform structured cabling, patching, and cable management.
• Conduct routine hardware checks and respond to alerts or incidents.
• Coordinate with remote teams and vendors to resolve issues.
• Handle support tickets and provide timely incident updates.
• Maintain asset records and maintenance logs.
• Follow site SOPs, safety procedures, and customer requirements.
