Job summary

g2 Recruitment seeks an Electrical QA/QC Engineer for a Data Center Substation project in Hamina, Finland. You will perform QA/QC inspections, review ITPs and quality docs, and assist testing and energisation of MV, LV and controls systems.

Inspect switchgear and transformers, manage NCRs/punch lists, and ensure compliance with project specs and HSE requirements. Immediate start on a 12-month freelance/contract basis.

Qualifications

• Experience as Electrical QA/QC Engineer or Inspector.
• MV, LV and Controls experience.
• Substation/power distribution project experience.
• Support testing, commissioning and energisation activities.
• Familiar with NCRs, ITPs, inspections and quality documentation.
• Fluent English required; Finnish language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC inspections on a Data Center Substation project.
• Review ITPs, test records, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning, and energisation of MV, LV, and Controls systems.
• Inspect switchgear, transformers, cables, and associated electrical equipment.
• Manage NCRs, punch lists, and quality close-out activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and HSE requirements.
