Your Opportunity

Are you ready to jump into the AI security train and fine-tune next-generation security automation? We are looking for a curious, forward-thinking Cyber Security Trainee, eager to break out of routine tasks and dive straight into the modern threat landscape. Cyber defence is evolving rapidly: traditional perimeter defences are no longer enough, automation is critical, and AI is completely transforming both offensive tactics and defensive strategies. If you want hands-on experience securing modern cloud infrastructures, building intelligent detection workflows, and exploring how machine learning can supercharge security operations, this is where you start.

Where you’ll be

You will be based at our Headquarters in Espoo, Finland (hybrid basis).

What you’ll be doing

• Jump into the AI Security Train: Experiment with AI-driven security tools, assess emerging AI-related vulnerabilities, and explore practical ways to integrate generative AI safely into day-to-day operations.
• Fine-Tune Security Automation: Help design and optimize SOAR playbooks and automated workflows that eliminate repetitive alerts and dramatically cut incident response times.
• Threat Detection & Triage: Work alongside our senior security experts and analysts to analyze security telemetry, hunt for anomalous activity across enterprise environments, and triage security incidents.
• Vulnerability Management & Posture: Assist in vulnerability assessments, patch verification, and configuration audits across global hybrid environments (cloud, enterprise IT, and connected systems).
• Security Awareness & Culture: Help create engaging, practical security guidance and simulated training that keeps our global teams alert and resilient.

What you’ll bring to the role

• Ongoing or recently completed studies in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Networks, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Solid understanding of core networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing) and baseline security concepts.
• Eagerness to explore AI frameworks, cloud security (Azure/AWS), and modern security and detection platforms.
• Good command of written and spoken English; Finnish language skills are considered an asset.
