Job summary

As Communications Manager, you will plan and deliver strategy, leadership and change communications while developing internal communications, employee engagement and communications practices. You will also be responsible for key areas of external communications, including media relations, press releases and digital content, and contribute to crisis and incident communications preparedness. You will work closely with management, business functions, production sites and a broad communications network. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on communications work, giving you the opportunity to contribute to Metsä Board’s image, employee engagement and stakeholder trust. You will be supported by Metsä Group’s communications team and a broad network of experts in Finland and internationally. The position is based in Espoo, Finland, and you will report to the VP, Communications. **What are we expecting of you?** We expect you to have a relevant master’s degree and several years of experience in international corporate communications, change communications and strategic communications.
