Job summary

Econia Oy in Finland is seeking an experienced CNC Vertical Turning Lathe Operator / CNC Machinist to join our skilled manufacturing team in Pöytyä. This is a permanent employment opportunity with a stable and growing company.

You will work with the BOST VTL 68 CY, Siemens‑controlled vertical turning lathe, setting up, running and optimizing programs while measuring parts to spec. This machine can handle workpieces up to 8.2 m in diameter, 5.4 m in height and 120 tonnes.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC turning and/or CNC machining.
• Knowledge of Siemens CNC controls.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good understanding of measuring equipment and quality requirements.
• Independent and responsible working attitude.

Responsibilities

• CNC machining and turning of large and demanding workpieces.
• Setup and operation of Siemens-controlled vertical turning lathes.
• Running, editing, and optimizing machining programs.
• Performing measurements and quality control.
• Collaborating with production and engineering teams to ensure efficient manufacturing.
