Job summary

Apuvoima Pirkanmaa Oy in Finland is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join our metalworking team. You will independently operate and set up CNC press brakes, program bending routines from technical drawings, and ensure quality through precise measurements.

You will handle tool selection, adjust bending angles, monitor tolerances, perform basic maintenance, and work in three shifts. Fluency in Finnish or English and strong attention to detail are essential.

Job description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced CNC Press Brake Operator for our client in the metal industry.

This position is suitable for an experienced professional who can independently operate a CNC press brake based on technical drawings. We are particularly looking for someone with strong skills in machine setup, programming, tool selection, and quality control.

Your responsibilities include:

• Bending sheet metal according to technical drawings and work instructions
• Independently operating and setting up CNC press brake machines
• Creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC bending programs
• Selecting and changing appropriate bending tools
• Managing bending angles and making necessary adjustments
• Checking the dimensions, angles, and tolerances of finished parts
• Performing basic machine maintenance and keeping the workstation clean and organized

We expect you to have:

• Solid previous experience in CNC press brake operation
• Experience with modern CNC press brake machines, such as Amada, Bystronic, Trumpf, or similar machines
• Ability to independently program CNC press brakes and perform machine setups
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good knowledge of selecting appropriate bending tools
• Understanding of different sheet metal materials, thicknesses, bending angles, and tolerances
• Good skills in using measuring instruments
• An independent, precise, and responsible approach to work
• Willingness to work in three shifts
• Good communication skills in Finnish or English
