Job summary

Amiko Tampere Oy is seeking a motivated CNC boring mill operator for a long-term position in Tampere. The role involves machining metal components, boring holes, milling surfaces, and following technical drawings within a skilled team.

The ideal candidate has experience operating a boring mill and can work independently with a proactive, hands-on attitude. A 12-month initial contract is offered, with the possibility of extension. Two-shift work and a modern, clean workshop are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a boring mill in a metal workshop.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Skills in using vernier calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Ability to work independently.
• A proactive, hands-on attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operating a boring mill in a metal workshop, including machining metal, boring holes, milling surfaces, and securing workpieces.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Monitoring work quality and checking component dimensions.
