Overview

Are you looking for a new experience for the winter season 2025-2026 in Lapland, Finland? We are searching for motivated and professional CHEFS to work in Lapland during the next winter season. Winter season in Lapland begins in November 2025 and lasts until March/April 2026. We have winter destinations, hotel-restaurants and skiing centers all over Lapland. Depending on the place and position, job descriptions will be ala carte- or buffet-chefs tasks.

Lapland is the northernmost part of Finland and a unique setting with winter activities and the northern lights. The role offers the opportunity to work in diverse locations across Lapland.

Responsibilities

• Work as a chef at winter destinations (hotel-restaurants and skiing centers) in Lapland.
• Perform chef duties according to the place and position, which may be ala carte- or buffet-style.
• Represent professionalism and uphold quality standards during the winter season.

Qualifications

• EU citizenship or valid working permit to Finland.
• Previous relevant experience working as a chef (at least 4 years).
• English language at fluent, communicative level.
• Curious attitude toward working abroad and eagerness to learn about a new work culture.
• In some positions, a Finnish hygiene passport is required; we will help you obtain it if needed.

Benefits and Conditions

• Contract for the winter season with possibility of extension.
• Competitive salary depending on your working experience.
• Evening-, night-, Sunday- and overtime compensation according to the collective agreement.
• Housing is provided by the customer company and paid by the employee (cost: 250€ - 350€ per month per bed/person).
