Overview

Join the story of the renewing Vaattunki Wilderness Resort! Vaattunki Wilderness Resort, located right next to the Arctic Circle Hiking Area, is a destination with a strong history. In summer 2025, the resort’s concept and brand will undergo a complete renewal. The new Vaattunki will open its doors to travelers for the winter season 2025, offering a more immersive and high-quality experience than ever before. Our resort combines premium accommodation, an inspiring restaurant experience, and stunning surroundings in the heart of Lapland’s nature.

Responsibilities

We are looking for CHEFS for the Vaattunki Wilderness Resort restaurant. As a chef, you will be part of an international team. During the winter season, our guests consist primarily of international travelers staying at the resort, along with other individual and group diners. Your main responsibility as a cook will be preparing the à la carte dinner service, ensuring a unique and memorable culinary experience for each guest.

What we expect from you
  • Education and/or previous work experience in professional cooking
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Good organizational skills and ability to perform under pressure
  • Valid hygiene certificate (Hygiene Passport)
  • Fluent English skills
Considered an advantage
  • Drivers license
  • Additional language skills such as Finnish, French, Spanish, or Italian
