Join us at Ruukki Construction as a Business Director for Business Unit Building Envelopes in Finland and help shape the future of sustainable steel-based building solutions. In this leadership role, you will guide our Building Envelopes business in Finland, with full responsibility for results, sales, market development, and production operations. You will report to the Head of Business Unit Building Envelopes and location is Helsinki, Finland.

Main responsibilities
  • Full business ownership of Building Envelopes business in Finland by defining and executing the market strategy, driving growth and competitive positioning, and managing the complete P&L—including budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and margin performance.
  • Buildand lead a strong team focused on commercial and operational excellence, leading teams through change and new ways of working
  • Setand reach sales targets, and develop long-term customer partnerships
  • Developand maintain strategic relationships with major Finnish customers, ensuring long-term partnerships and value creation.
  • Oversee the efficient and safe operation of the designated production site, ensuring compliance with safety standards, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Universitydegree in engineering, construction or related field
  • Minimumof 10 years’ experience in senior positions within B2B sales, or businessleadership in the industrial sector -preferably in construction.
  • Proventrack record of leading business operations with P&L responsibilityand leading high-performing teams
  • Demonstratedability to drive change and lead transformation, with a coachingleadership style that inspires and develops others.
  • Excellentinfluencing and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and aligndiverse stakeholders.
  • Strategicand analytical mindset, strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • In-depthknowledge of the Finnish construction market.
  • Results-driven,proactive, and thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
  • Excellentcommunication skills: fluency in Finnish and English required.
