Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Junior or Senior Data Engineer to join the Insights & Data practice in Helsinki. You will design and implement cloud data platforms on a cutting-edge stack, with responsibilities ranging from hands-on ETL work to architecture design.

The role requires strong Azure-based data experience, Databricks know-how, and effective communication across business and tech teams. Proficiency in SQL, PySpark, Python, and data warehousing; CI/CD know-how; and a willingness to collaborate

Qualifications

Hands-on experience as a Data Engineer in Azure-based ETL solutions and scalable data pipelines.
Experience with Databricks and modern Lakehouse platforms.
Strong SQL, PySpark, and Python skills; data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
CI/CD practices and related tools (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Strong communication to bridge business, data, and technology needs.
Finnish language proficiency is required.
Ability to work independently with customers; consulting experience is a plus.
