Job summary

ReOrbit is seeking a Project Manager – Avionics to lead the avionics development and integration for the SiltaSat GEO satellite, ensuring power systems, onboard electronics, harnessing, sensors, and interfaces meet long-duration mission requirements.

Based in Helsinki, Finland, this role offers the opportunity to influence space data transfer through a software-enabled, innovative team and to work with suppliers, verification, and EICD stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master’s degree is an advantage.
• 5+ years of avionics/flight hardware experience in space/aerospace.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong understanding of GEO-mission reliability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead all avionics domain activities across the GEO satellite program.
• Oversee development and integration of power systems and onboard electronics.
• Coordinate with subsystem leads and Work Package Managers.
• Lead procurement and supplier follow-up for avionics hardware.
• Support verification, electrical integration and testing.
• Custodian of the Electrical Interface Control Document (EICD).
