Job summary

Kymi Sinfonietta is recruiting an Associate Principal Clarinet for a permanent position. The successful candidate will be expected to play chamber music, perform on E-flat clarinet and bass clarinet, and contribute to the orchestra's collaborative spirit.

Auditions are scheduled for Friday 13 February 2026 at the Kotka Concert Hall, Kotka, Finland, starting at 12:00. The orchestra will provide an accompanist, and applicants may bring their own at personal expense.

Job description

Kymi Sinfonietta is recruiting an ASSOCIATE PRINCIPAL CLARINET for a permanent position. The salary will be determined in accordance with the relevant collective agreement. Requirements for playing chamber music, E-flat clarinet, and bass clarinet are included in the position. We hope that the applicants possess good co-operation and interaction skills. Finnish and English are the official languages at the workplace.

The audition will be held on Friday 13 th of February 2026 at the Kotka Concert Hall (address Keskuskatu 33, Kotka, Finland) beginning at 12:00. The orchestra will provide an accompanist for the audition, but the applicants are also allowed to use another accompanist at their own expense. The audition can include chamber music assignments and an interview.
