Job summary

Nanoform in Helsinki is seeking an Assistant Legal Counsel to support and coordinate a broad range of legal matters. The role is part-time (16 - 24 hours a week) and for a fixed term until 31.12.2027.

We would appreciate it if the chosen candidate could start in January 2027. You will work with Nanoform’s Legal Counsels and local counsels across jurisdictions, reviewing contracts, drafting documents, handling governance for a listed company, and coordinating IP prosecution while learning in a

Qualifications

• Law student with at least half of studies completed.
• Interest in business law, IP rights, and the pharmaceutical industry.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Fluent in English and Finnish; Swedish is a plus.

• Drafting documents, meeting minutes, and corporate resolutions.
• Supporting coordination of IPR prosecution across jurisdictions.
• Taking an active role in administrating the lifecycle of contracts and documents.

Assistant Legal Counsel - Trainee

Nanoform is an innovative drug particle engineering and nanotechnology company listed on the Premier-segment of Nasdaq First North Growth Market in Helsinki and Stockholm. Nanoform works together with pharma and biotech partners globally to reduce attrition in clinical trials and enhance their molecules’ formulation performance through its nanoforming technologies and formulation services. Nanoform’s capabilities include GMP manufacturing, and its services span the small to large molecule development space with a focus on solving key issues in drug solubility and bioavailability and on enabling novel drug delivery applications.

We are seeking an Assistant Legal Counsel to be a part of our journey to build a global changemaker in the pharmaceutical industry. The Assistant Legal Counsel will work together with Nanoform’s Legal Counsels and local counsels across different jurisdictions to support and coordinate the broad range of legal matters arising in our business.

Skills, Education and Experience We Look for

• Law student with at least half of their studies completed.
• Interest in business law, technology, intellectual property rights, and the pharmaceutical industry.
• Previous working experience in a law firm or a listed company as well as background in life sciences can be an advantage but not required.
• Ability to act independently and as part of a team to provide timely and quality work.
• Proactive person that shows attention to detail.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Finnish. Swedish is considered an advantage.
• Most of all we value a positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
