Role

We’re looking for an experienced Accountant to support our Finnish operations and, in the near future, to collaborate closely with our newly acquired Swedish entity. This hybrid role covers invoicing, reporting, compliance, and process improvement across both markets. You’ll work closely with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth and compliant finance operations in Finland and Sweden.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in line with Finnish GAAP, Swedish GAAP, and IFRS.
• Manage invoicing, payments, and collections.
• Perform monthly and annual closings, prepare reports, and resolve accounting issues.
• Assist with tax filings, VAT returns, and compliance.
• Support process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve queries and support cash flow management.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance or Economics and 3+ years of finance/audit experience (ideally in dynamic, international environments).
• Strong knowledge of Finnish GAAP, Swedish GAAP, IFRS, and accounting best practices.
• Proficiency in NetSuite, Excel, and Google Workspace.
• Proactive, analytical, and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Fluent in Finnish, Swedish and English; Spanish is a plus.
