Job summary

Nebius Finland Oy is seeking a Mechanical Operations Technician to ensure the safe, reliable operation of a mission-critical data center in Lappeenranta, Finland. The role involves monitoring mechanical systems, responding to alarms, and performing maintenance through a 24/7 Critical Facilities Operations team.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in similar settings, proficiency in BMS/CMMS, and solid knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, pumps, and heat exchangers.

Qualifications

• Fluent English (written and spoken) is required.
• 2–5 years of experience maintaining mechanical systems in critical environments (data centers, hospitals, etc.).
• Knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, pumps, and heat exchangers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor mechanical infrastructure using BMS and routine field inspections.
• Respond to alarms and maintenance events following SOPs and EOPs.
• Record readings and shift activities; support planned maintenance windows.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and coordinate vendor support.
• Maintain CMMS maintenance records.
