Senior CMS Developer
Location: Remote (Europe)
Contract length: 11 months (extensions expected)

We are supporting a global pharmaceutical organisation that is investing heavily in new digital web capabilities. We are looking for a Senior CMS Developer (5-7+ years' experience) to join the Digital Web Experience team and lead CMS development across several strategic initiatives.
You will take ownership of CMS development, contribute to architectural decisions, and guide CMS migration/integration activity. You will also act as a technical mentor to developers within the team and lead technical design discussions.
- 5-7+ years of professional web development experience
- Minimum 2-3 years with CMS platforms (Magnolia CMS is advantageous)
- Strong proficiency with front-end development:
- HTML, CSS, TailwindCSS, AlpineJS, Lottie web animations
- Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals
- Backend development capability (Typescript / Nest.js / Node.js / Java / Spring)
- Experience with RESTful API integrations and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Git/GitHub experience (PR reviews, code quality oversight)
- Ability to mentor and lead others technically
- Strong stakeholder communication and influencing skills
- Comfortable leading solution discussions and recommending best practice
- Key role within a high-impact digital transformation
- Ownership, autonomy, and the ability to shape technical direction
- Fully remote, long-term contract with extension potential
