Wagmi is looking for a web3 full-stack developer. Wagmi is a web3 venture studio, our vision is to build the web3 companies of the future that let people own the world!

Are you interested in creating the future of the decentralized application (dapp) developer experience? Building on blockchains requires a new mindset, end-user considerations, and grappling with new technological challenges. These facets need to be deeply considered when building the tools that designers, engineers, security auditors, and solution architects use on a daily basis.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• A passion for decentralized computing and its disruptive potential
• An appreciation of the core constructs of decentralized systems such as consensus algorithms, network & data exchange protocols, cryptography, trust models, etc
• Demonstrable experience with a modern programming language for backend and its associated tooling, such as Node.js, Python, Go, or Rust
• Experience building front-end apps with React or Vue
• Hands-on experience with a variety of stages of the application development lifecycle (wireframing, prototyping, architecting, development, support, scaling, etc)
• We believe languages can be learned and are far more interested in your general engineering abilities so, experience with a smart contract development language (Solidity, Vyper, etc.) is a plus.

Skills you’ll learn, or improve upon:

• ES6 / Node.js and working within its associated ecosystem
• Real world Decentralized Application (dapp) development
• Open source software contribution and/or project maintenance
• Technical writing including documentation, tutorials, etc
• Involvement with a technically-focused developer community
