At its core, LocalStack provides a high-fidelity emulator and local cloud development platform. Imagine developing cloud applications and data pipelines entirely on your local machine within a lightweight cloud sandbox, running in Docker!

We are growing our globally distributed team across sectors. LocalStack is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, with a main engineering office in Vienna, Austria, and remote team members from the US, France, UK, Canada, Spain, and many more countries.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned finance leader with experience in VC-backed B2B SaaS ventures, particularly those who have navigated Series A-D funding rounds, with exposure to the US market and international setups.

Responsibilities:

1. Define, drive, and own the company's financial strategy, partnering with leadership to set and monitor OKRs, ARR, budgets, and other key metrics.
2. Act as a strategic partner to leaders by managing budgets, providing business modeling, and supporting decision-making processes.
3. Assist founders in analyzing venture progress, building predictability, and increasing confidence in strategic decisions.
4. Collaborate with teams to develop financial analyses supporting new initiatives, product pricing, and performance measurement.
5. Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.

Experience required:

1. Proven experience in a VC-backed B2B SaaS venture, growing from Series A to C/D.
2. Strategic finance leadership experience with US market exposure.
3. Experience working within an international environment.
4. Experience managing sub-entities in Europe and the US.
5. High financial literacy and analytical skills.
