Universidad Carlos III de Madrid is seeking three Assistant Professor positions in Aerospace Engineering in the Engineering Department. The contract is temporary for two years with an estimated start in February 2026 and an end date of January 31, 2028.

Annual gross salary ranges from 38 000€ to 41 000€, with additional supplements possible based on productivity and excellence. Successful candidates are expected to develop a competitive research program and advance high-impact scholarly work.

Formación

• Field of experience: Aerospace Engineering or related fields, particularly Aircraft Design and Manufacturing.
• Independent research potential, critical thinking, ability to cope with innovation and interdisciplinarity.
• Postdoctoral experience of up to 6 years

• To help build competitive proposals for research funding.
• To publish impactful scientific contributions.

General contractual conditions:

• Gross salary 38-41 k€/year.
• Options for additional salary supplements offered by UC3M and based on productivity and excellence
• Standard benefits, including Health care under the Spanish National System.
• Contract Start: February 2026, preferably.
• The duration of the contract is 2 years. Successful candidates are expected to transition into a tenure-track position after that period.
