Job summary

Teledyne Sevilla seeks a New Product Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-performance vision systems. You will work in an advanced technical environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Telecommunication, Industrial Engineering (specializing in Robotics, Automation, or Electronics) or Electronical Engineering
• Recent graduate. But experience in a related area is a plus.
• Desirable experience with image manipulation and signal processing. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer classifications, and testing is a plus.
• Relevant experience in electronic testing and validation; experience using laboratory equipment (power supplies, signal generator, SMU, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, thermal test equipment, GPIB, etc.).
• Ability to obtain and present conclusions based on statistical data.
• Ability to lead activities independently with minimal direction.
• Familiarity with Matlab and Office (high level of Excel). Knowledge of Python and LabView/TestStand is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written) in a team environment; French language skills are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Follow development plan for new product introductions with director to deliver on time, within cost and quality.
• Support the production department with procedures for manufacturing during sampling and ramp-up.
• Assist in the development of raw materials and industrialization of test means.
• Responsible for discussions with subcontractors regarding quality and planning issues during the industrialization phase.
• Define and pilot JEDEC/AECQ100 qualifications to ensure the reliability of our products.
• Proactively support the industrialization director to achieve on-time delivery against the manufacturing plan.
• Implement and lead customer requests and RMA during industrialization phase.
