Mission of the Role

We are looking for a Video Editor with strong craft, taste, and attention to detail. Someone who understands rhythm, narrative, and visual coherence. You will work on campaigns for global brands, help shape the visual identity of MITO Films, and collaborate closely with creative direction, production, and product teams.

This role is hands‑on. You will edit, refine, experiment, and push the boundaries of what great video looks like today, combining traditional tools with new workflows powered by AI.

What You’ll Do

• Edit high‑quality video content for brand campaigns, short‑form pieces, product videos, and narrative experiments.
• Work across DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, and modern editing workflows to deliver clean, consistent visuals.
• Build coherent narratives: pacing, sound, transitions, emotion.
• Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and AI artists to shape the final cut.
• Adapt and elevate pre‑existing storyboards and scripts, bringing clarity and visual identity.
• Maintain consistency across formats and platforms.
• Explore new tools and workflows, including AI‑assisted editing (not required but valued).
• Push for quality. Give and receive feedback with a high level of craft.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional video editing experience.
• Advanced command of DaVinci Resolve and Adobe After Effects.
• Strong sense of storytelling, rhythm, and visual composition.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and iterate quickly.
• Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• High level of attention to detail and ownership over the final result.
• Portfolio showcasing solid commercial or artistic work.

• Motion graphics skills beyond the basics.
